Six month anniversary

Some people say that a 6 month anniversary is not really something to celebrate. Well I don’t believe in that. Today is mine and my girlfriend’s 6 month anniversary and I have the whole day planned.

This morning I woke up early and cooked her breakfast in bed. After that we had to take a trip up to get her license, cause she lost it a few weeks ago. Then we went to go get her nails done and now we are just waiting for dinner.

I’m taking her to a fancy dancy restaurant here in Festus, called Petit Paree. It’s a really good spot and they have really really great food. She’s never been there, so it’ll be nice to take her somewhere fancy. After we are done there, we are heading to St. Louis and going to The Melting Pot for dessert (Fondue). Neither of us have been there, so that’s pretty exciting. Then I think we might head off to the casino to play some slots. We don’t spend much, but it’s a great time!

It’s been a great six months with her and I wouldn’t want to spend it with anyone else. Pretty much certain I have found the right one. Guess we will wait and see. I’m taking my camera, so I’ll have some pictures.

Isn’t it weird, that 5-10 years ago, not many people could blog in a mobile environment? Yeah, you could lug your 20lb laptop around with you to do that, but remember when wifi wasn’t available EVERYWHERE? Nowadays, you can open up your blog app and go to town. You can blog on your phone or the more popular lately, blog on your tablet. I guess thinking back, we’ve got it pretty easy now. Sometimes my mind wonders I guess. Just my random thought of the day.

What is with this Missouri weather? It’s so beautiful out today. I wish I still had my vette to drive around with the top out! But no, I have to spend the entire day in the office. And by the time I get off, it will be dark out. At least I get to spend an hour enjoying it on lunch!

2012 New Years Resolution

Well, I don’t have much time to write, as it is 2AM and I gotta get up at 8AM. I just wanted to write something to let you all know my new years resolution. I am going to start writing on this thing more. I might possibly change the URL to my blog to something more personal. Yeah, I guess RandyR.net is kinda personal, but I was thinking my full name. That would be a good name for a “personal blog,” don’t you think? Well, yes, I promise that I will try my hardest to write on this thing more. My first thing though… I need to redesign the way this thing looks. It’s been years since I have changed my design. I would think that I would get around to it here one of these days, but I haven’t made this one of my priorities lately. I will promise all of you, that you will get a little more out of me this year.

Maybe I should change the name to something a little less personal, so I can write more personal things about my life, and no one would know it is actually me? Hmm… Idk. Stay tuned. I could always do two separate blogs, not that I can even get to one now, but we will see!

Hope everyone had a good holiday. Mine was awesome! I’m so excited to see where this year takes me! Hopefully it continues from where last year left off. The beginning of the year sucked ass, but the end was totally worth the wait! Well wish me luck, cause I will do the same for you!

I have so many fond memories of Krista, and we’ve only been dating for 5 months (as of December). She is my world, and I could be happier. We have so much in common that sometimes I think we are soul-mates. Sometimes I even think she is my twin. This post is just a bunch of random pictures of her/us.

St. Louis Zoo – July 2011

My new girl and I went to the Zoo for the first time in years. We had a blast. Luckily it just rained and it cooled off to about 85 degrees, but it was still hot and humid. Lots of the animals weren’t out. I’m not sure if this is because of the weather or because it was later in the day, but I got as many pictures as I could of everything that was out.

Well as I just turned the blog back on, I guess I should mention a few things that have changed in my life, but I think I’ll do this in another post. Check out the photos I posted, and let me know what you all think!

2011 Snow Storm in Spring

Some weird Missouri weather here in St. Louis! Here it is, 70 degrees last week, and now it’s in the 30s. I’m not quite sure what to think of it, but I be them people that have allergy problems are sure hating it!
