A video is probably better for this subject, but I figured I would start it out by writing a blog. My car…

So, about 2 months or so ago, I started working back in the office. For 3 years I worked from home doing network support for the company I work for. Now in my new role, I support the technicians in the field, working at our offices. They setup routers, install phones (various brands/types), install printers, troubleshoot issues with any one of those among other things, in all of our 14,000 locations. We have to support those technicians with what they install/uninstall/upgrade/change. They do a lot. So do we! There’s a lot that goes into setting up one of our offices. From setting up the network, to making sure everything works before they leave. Most of the time that’s successful and we get them out of their in just a couple of days. It’s a lot more challenging than my last role, but I’m to the point now where I am feeling more and more confident with what I’m doing. Me personally, I feel like I filled a spot very well and am doing a good job, but with the corporate environment I’m in, who knows? I just try to do a good job and then leave for the day. All of the people I work with are great though, so I really enjoy being there. It actually made me miss being around people. Not just at home by myself. I sometimes think that I might’ve went a little crazy working from home, but come Winter, I’ll probably have a change of heart about working in the office. I do really miss my old teammates. Glad we still work relatively close together.

Anyway, the reason I’m here… Since I’m driving more now, and actually have to leave my home, I figured now is as good of time as any to start fixing up my car and to make videos about doing just that. I just made my last car payment this week, so I’ll have a little extra cash to do some customizing. I bought a few things for it this week, and I’m hoping I can do a video about all of them. It might be too cold to do anything the next few months, but I’m saving up for some really cool videos in the Spring! I have so many ideas for videos I want to make! So, if you don’t already, go subscribe to my YouTube channel!

I am the proud owner of a 2013 Hyundai Veloster. Not that it’s fancy or anything, but I love the way they look. They are different, kind of like me. 🙂 Right now it’s sitting right around 70,000 miles, so plenty of life left in her. I told you I used to not leave the house very much and when I did, we always took my Wife’s car!

So the customizing begins…

Last week, I changed the taillight bulbs in my car. I put these LEDs in them and they are incredibly bright. The license plate lights with these “SUPER WHITE” LED Lights.

I also installed some wind visors/rain guards. Not because I smoke, but because I like the way they look. 🙂

Oh and here’s a shot of my new wheels. I’ll probably get a better one tomorrow.
